Nina Mascheroni is an artist based in Brooklyn, NY. She is learning how to weave together all her passions from fashion design to textile creation to drawing to being outside. A native Colorodoan, she grew up living in a big city that focuses on living life outside in 300 days of sunshine.
While her favorite hobby is eating, her first passion is music (listening not playing), her life has revolved around fashion and textile design. Nina loves weaving, dyeing, sewing, printing and doing anything to fabric (or other materials) to change its original form. She’s shown at the avant garde Alien Life fashion shows, and recently won “Most Marketable Line” at the CSU Senior Fashion Show. In addition, she’s been names one of “4 Fashion Designers from Colorado State You Should Know” by 303 Magazine.
Nina believes that the arts community as a whole has a great amount of positive power and force and tries to contribute to that as much as possible. She believes the best projects blur the lines of mediums and genres and helps create a space where people feel a part of something.
Taking the school path in life, Nina graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Apparel Design and Production from Colorado State University in Spring 2017. Throughout school she interned with LamanBlu childrenswear, the Denver Design Incubator and most recently, full time in the development department at Tanya Taylor. She is currently working in technical design at Jonathan Simkhai.
